My name is Eric Davis and with my wife Brandi and two sons Austin and Aiden we wanted to create something that would give others the joy and happiness that we have by taking vacations together. I have been in the construction business my whole career and have always been trying to keep up with deadlines and construction schedules. The time just always seemed to get away and I struggled to find the time to watch the kids grow up. We spent a vacation one year at a place that was very similar to what we wanted to create that would give families the opportunity to get together and make memories in this busy world they would never forget. The older we become the more we realize that these times together and memories we make are really all that matters.

Smoky Mountain Villas is a small family-owned business that allows us to give a greater personal touch to all the families and guest that stay here. Whether you are looking for a family getaway, couples retreat, or an action-packed summer vacation, we hope to offer all of this at Smoky Mountain Villas. Nestled in the woods on the main channel of Douglas Lake we are a Resort Destination that we hope all your family and friends will love. Our goal is for the stress to melt away the moment you arrive and share in the memories and adventures that you so deserve.

My name is Josh Dodder, and I am the manager here at Smoky Mountain Villas. I have been working with the Davis family since graduating high school. I started doing construction and gradually evolved to take on new projects and experiences. When Eric first brought up the idea of building a lakeside getaway for families to enjoy it sounded like an insurmountable task. Nevertheless, we were determined to make it happen. So far it has been quite a journey, moving to new place and getting to know the new surroundings and meeting new people. Everyday presented new challenges and problems to overcome, however we were always able to find a solution to get the job done. Its have been an incredible journey so far and look forward to continued growth and new adventures. We are working hard every day to make Smoky Mountain Villas the best place to stay in East Tennessee.
